Pet Etiquette

In Florida, Dog Waste is to be picked-up while walking pets.
Pet owners should always pick up after their pets and dispose of waste in the trash or in a designated pet waste container.
In many communities, pet waste containers are provided for residents.
Pet waste should never be left on the ground or put into storm drains, roads, or water bodies.
Florida has so many neighbors living in close proximity to one another.  So many of us have pets as an important part of our households, pet waste is a health and environmental issue due to daily large numbers in our community.

Walking your dog in Florida means something very very different in Florida.  Leaving your pet's waste in someone else's yard or in public areas is not lawful nor neighborly.  Help us maintain a Healthy and Happy Florida.
With so many visitors in Florida, we want everyone to be comfortable, welcome, and aware of why the Florida health rules maybe different from other states or countries.
Please help us to communicate these uniquely Florida rules nicely to all of your visitors.  Thank You!!

Like all county regulations, these are also supported by the Trinity Master Association governing rules, and by each of your 14 Trinity local HOA rules.

This issue pops-up from time to time during public HOA meetings due to the inevitable reports from homeowners throughout Pasco.
Dog Waste is to be picked-up while walking pets.
Even if your dog poops at home, it needs to be disposed in your trash, and not left on the ground in your yard.

Per Pasco County,

Pet waste should never be left on the ground, never put waste in storm drains, roads, in any body of water, nor in a ditch, drain, or canal.
Federal and State organizations, like EPA, test these waters and yard run-off for waste and chemicals to protect our environment and wildlife.

Please do not email your photos or Ring videos when first sending a pet waste report, but do indicate if such info is available.  We will request more information, if a case warrants the extra effort.

Homeowner may request HOA Board assistance for communicating with the resident, if known.
