PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County’s Planning and Development Department has hosted several public workshops to help develop a vision of what Pasco County should look like over the next 25 years as the county grows. The current Pasco County Development plan is dated 2006 with occasional updates. The county is starting a three year process of replacing the 2006 plan with a new plan. The County expects to hold several of these meetings in the coming years. The key data that was presented at a recent meeting reflects that Pasco County's current population growth is significantly higher (60 percentage rate of growth) than any of the neighboring counties. The average age of county residents reflects a growing younger population in Pasco County from the average of 53 years old to 45 years old. The major employers in Pasco County are the School and County, and Healthcare related providers. About 70% of County residents commute every day from Pasco County to other counties for their employment. Most of the remaining undeveloped lands in Pasco County are West and North to Northeast of the Trinity Communities. At the rate of population growth in the county, we can expect these undeveloped land areas to undergo continuing fast paced development. If not properly planned, this will cause related strains on transportation, water, sewage, utilities, emergency services and schools.
ORANGE BELT TRAIL STUDY is being conducted by Pasco County Engineering Services for a proposed 37 mile multiuse recreational trail for bicycle, pedestrians and possible equestrian accommodations. The proposed trail will start in the Trinity area and run near Trinity Blvd (along the old orange belt train-line) up towards the Northeast to link to other central Florida regional trails. For additional information on this project please visit

TCMA PARK: As a reminder--TCMA Park is a Private Park and its facilities (Pickleball courts and Dog Park) are only for the use of Trinity Neighborhood Associations' residents and their guests. No one is authorized to move or change TCMA property without Board approval.
